Welcome to our Stories page.  Every week we feature a short story, or a chapter from one of the novellas written by a member of the Jeka Team.

 

The first feature is "Homecoming" by CNN Lokko.  This novella is about Freda, a second-generation American teenager who is uncomfortable about her Ghanaian heritage and does all she can do to forget her parents' past.  Then due to a family emergency, a protesting Freda is taken to Ghana on a visit.  How would Freda cope with the life she has tried to avoid for so long?
